The restraint is the feature you are actually buying.
It does not have a feed. There is nothing to scroll. Today is one screen, it ends, and you leave. If the suite has nothing worth saying it says so and shows you the page instead.
It does not gamify you. A streak is shown because it is a fact, not because breaking it should hurt. Nothing turns red. Nothing is overdue. No badge has ever been earned here.
It does not notify you more than once a day, and that once is at an hour you set. The Watch will tap you when the one move exists and stay silent when it does not.
It does not predict. The astrology is offered as a language for attention, not a claim about causation, and every reading says which it is being. You are welcome to disbelieve the frame entirely; the practices work either way.
It does not sell you. Your figures, your journal, your draws and your circle are not sold, not shared, and not used to train anything that serves anyone else. There is no advertising tier and there will not be one.
It does not hold your journal hostage. Export everything as plain text, at any moment, without asking. Journal entries are local-first and sync end-to-end encrypted — we store text we cannot read.
